The company recently won a project to develop CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) from the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) worth Bt135 million.
Ms. Sirilak Chuenprasert, the Managing Director of Portalnet, said that the management of enterprise’s asset – especially in large organizations – is repetitive processes, involving keeping track of the location, condition, and maintenance history of each asset to ensure that they are being used properly and efficiently. The adoption of technology to streamline the processes is important, enabling the assets to be managed effectively, thus maximizing return on investment.

The company has collaborated with IBM to bring “IBM Maximo”, the Enterprise Asset Management solution, to level up Thai organizations in managing and optimizing critical assets with maximum benefits. The solution offers intelligent asset management, monitoring, predictive maintenance and reliability planning in a single platform. It provides insight for all enterprise assets, their conditions and work processes for better planning and control.
Businesses can efficiently make asset control to optimize performance and extend the asset life cycles while diminishing redundant working processes and reducing operational downtime and costs.
Ms. Pawasut Seewirot, the Software Leader at IBM Thailand, said 9 out of 10 of the world’s largest utilities agencies use IBM Maximo to improve their asset management efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. The system is reported to help reduce system downtime at 20 per cent on average.

The solutions – including Enterprise Content Management (ECM), data storage management, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) – are delivered to help the organizations reduce redundant working processes. When linked with the ERP system, the solutions will enhance the organization’s management efficiency, enabling them to transform to become a fully digital organization in the future.
“We still focus on the existing customer base which is large utilities enterprises, an area that we have expertise for over a decade. We also have an ambitious plan to achieve Bt1 billion revenue target by the end of this year,” Ms. Sirilak said.
Portalnet recently won a project to develop CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) from the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) worth Bt135 million. The company is also working on the Organization Management System Development Project (SAP Upgrade) of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA), which is now in the delivery process. The system is expected to go live within this year.
