Samart Group and its employees donate 195 White Canes worth at Bt117,000 to the Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB) for distributing to the underprivileged blind people nationwide.

The donation was organized under Samart Group’s “Passing on Happiness” project, the initiative that Samart’s employees cooperate to make contributions to people in the society. Mr. Subin Baekhunthod and Mr. Peerapong Jarusarn, the vice president of Thailand Association of the Blind and Mr. Ekapong Nopsakul, the association’s executive committee and public relations together with its officers are the representatives to receive the white canes on the occasion of White Cane Safety Day.

The white cane is a significant device to help navigate the blind with more safety. It’s also a symbol for the visually impaired.
