1986

Samart Telcoms PCL

was established on July 18th, 1986 with 5 million baht registered capital. The company provides services pertaining to engineering telecommunication system. At early stage, the Company was awarded to install satellite telecommunication system for 4 airports in Bangkok, Haad Yai, Ubon Ratchathani and Chiangmai.

1988

Samart Telcoms

awarded a concession from Post and Telegraph Department to provide information via satellite service or VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal). An Australian-based OTC International Ltd. owned 40% registered shares of Samart Telcoms.

1995

Samart Telcoms

Registered in terms of the Public Limited Company and increased its registered capital from 400 million baht to 520 million baht.

1995

Thai Trade Net Co., Ltd.

was established to provide Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services.

1995

Posnet Co., Ltd.

was established to provide Electronic Fund Transfer at Point of Sales (EFT/POS) services.

1996

Samart Infonet Co., Ltd.

was established to provide internet services.

1996

Samart Telcoms PCL

was listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

2011

Samart Telcoms PCL

was licensed by National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to conduct satellite communication services using small antenna (Very Small Aperture Terminal: VSAT)

At Present

Conducts information technology and telecommunication services with an array of telecommunication networks. Services provided also include turn-key projects in total ICT solutions and services from design, installation and maintenance for both government and private sectors.
